Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you shorten a link, we store the destination URL, the generated short code, and the creation and expiry timestamps. No account or sign-up is required, so we do not collect your name, email, or any other personal profile information.

Click analytics

We record the number of times a short link is opened and when, so link owners and administrators can see basic usage counts. We do not build advertising profiles from this data or share it with third parties.

Abuse prevention

We may temporarily log the IP address used to create a link to prevent spam and abuse of the service. This is not displayed publicly and is not linked to any personal identity.

Data retention

Short links are active for 30 days by default. Once a link expires or is deleted, its destination and associated click data are removed from active storage.

Ads on the redirect page

Some short links show ads on the waiting/redirect page before continuing to the destination. These ads may be served by third-party ad networks, which can set their own cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies.

Content policy

We do not allow short links to malicious or disallowed content. Destination URLs may be automatically screened against a compliance policy before a link is approved.
